Get your child EXCITED with Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Stand up paddle boarding is a great way to build core strength. Stand up paddle boarding is a dynamic activity (board is floating on a moving body of water) it is highly effective for training and building up core muscles.
Increased core strength is a huge component in the development of gross motor skills and attention. Paddle boarding is excellent in developing dynamic balance skills by requiring the child to make constant postural adjustments as they move through the water.
In addition, paddle boarding will challenge the child's bilateral coordination skills as it takes two hands working together in a coordinated manner to propel the board forward. This is a great sensory processing activity for kids and will challenge vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile systems. Overall, this activity will aid in strengthening and calming the child.

All paddle boarding sessions are 45 minutes. Please call for the times and ages of the class that best suits your kiddo.
